King Soopers

ESTHER MARTINEZ IS A RACIST. Terrible cashier at your location named Esther, a racist if you may, today my mom and I went shopping for groceries and we emptied all our cart and she saw as we did, she scanned the first two items which were chicken and paper towels and she literally scanned them and saw my mom put them back in the cart and then she said that we had something else in the cart and I told her that she had just scanned them and she proceeded to angrily scan our items, then when she finished she just told my mom the total and then my mom handed her the money IN ESTHERS HAND and then Esther proceder to throw the money in the counter when my mom had her hand out. We usually check out in the fast check out but I told my mom that we should go to a cashier just because we had more than 10 items and there was a couple before us (white) and the cashier was being so friendly to them and literally took like 10 minutes to hand out their change and talk to them, then when she got to us she didn’t even say hello or anything just straight up ignored us and scanned our items, fast forward to when she got to the guy after us she literally changed her mood and greeted him, again he was white. My mom has had numerous encounters with Esther’s bad behavior toward her just because she speaks in Spanish I guess. I hope king soopers at Evan’s and clay reads this and acknowledges Esther’s behavior.

I live up north but I work by this store. I had to work late and needed to get dog food so I stopped in this store. I ran into a female employee and asked where the dog food was located she told me on 14. I also needed to use the restroom and asked her where it was located and her reply was that if I wanted to use the restroom to go across the street to Walmart and use theirs. That King Soopers doesn't allow people like me to use their restroom. It was shortly after five pm. She was a small Hispanic woman and she was at the self checkout area when I was leaving the was also another young lady in the self checkout area, she was very polite

I find everyone here to be friendly even the security guard tried to help me. But the guy at the gas station was pretty rude I wanted to redeem my gas points he directed me to go to a different gas station because he couldn't figure out how to put the tape for the register not my fault and maybe you should've asked how to before it ran out. I didn't want to go anywhere else that's why I stopped there.

King Soopers has spent a lot of money renovating most of their stores. For whatever reason, they skipped over this one. It's old and tired and sad. Poor selection, low stock, inconsistent service. Expect to wait in line anytime you go, even in the self-checkout where they expect us to do their job. And then they're so afraid of people stealing from them, they have a system that tries to weigh your self-bagged groceries and then flags and employee at least 2-3 times when you're checking out to make sure you're not stealing. Good luck finding an actual checker to check you out. They don't believe in them. We avoid this store actively, and I'll drive an extra 10 minutes away each way to go to a different store.
